The MOYA Foundation is getting ready!

We are now scheduled to go to Nigeria after things have settle from their elections (which have been delayed) and based on adequate funding. We’ve had to push this trip back a couple of times because of circumtances in Nigeria. Our plan is to go as soon as we are able to raise the funding for each person necessary to the trip. We’ve been studying the culture and our hearts are deeply burdened by the plight of the children in Africa with special needs. It is truly heart breaking! These kids must beg to eat, they cannot attend school, they have no therapy, no doctors, no love and are physically suffering with sensory issues and the inability to communicate. While there we’ll have an intense speaking and interview schedule. We will be teaching on the value of ALL children and challenging the cultural belief that “a child with special needs is a curse”. We’ll also be working on the imporvements to our first bulding and get an assessment on the needed improvements for the other 2 buildings which will also serve as: Schools, Therapy Centers, Orphanages, House of Prayer, and Vegetable Gardens.
